How to Pay Less for a Staycation
The things that actually move the price, from the person setting it.
No platform fees to cover, so the rate here is 5% below our standard rates on Airbnb, Booking.com and VRBO. A genuine win-win.
Fridays and Saturdays carry demand pricing. Sunday to Thursday is the sweet spot, and single nights are always available midweek.
Two nights usually works out better per night than one. The Friday and Saturday package is £503 rather than £521.
Romance and birthday set-ups, treatments in the cabin, early check-in. Not everything is listed — just ask.
Familiar faces matter. Returning guests are looked after.

Good to know
Minimum stay
Two nights minimum for stays including a Friday or Saturday in peak season. Sunday to Thursday, single nights are always available — the calendar will tell you.
Guests
The cabin sleeps 2–4 across two bedrooms. No unregistered visitors or parties, and no pets.
Arrival
Check-in from 2 PM, and your host meets you at the cabin. If you are arriving late he may leave the key in a secure lockbox instead and send you the code. Early check-in on request if the cabin is free the night before.
Payment
Secure payment by bank transfer. Nothing is taken online and no card details are asked for on this site — send us your dates, we'll confirm the total, and payment is arranged with you directly.

Cancellation and refund policies are based on the T&Cs of your booking.

Hot tub
Pre-heated to 37.5°C and sanitised before arrival. No fake tan, oils, alcohol or glass in or near the tub.
Quiet hours
No music or loud noise outside after 10:30 PM, and no smoking or vaping inside the cabin — we have close neighbours who deserve their evenings.
